Reservation and Booking:

To make a reservation with City Stays Melbourne, simply visit our website, select your desired vacation home, and follow the provided instructions. During check-in, please have a valid government-issued photo identification and a credit card, debit card, or cash deposit for any incidental charges. Please note that cleaning fees may also apply.

Rental Payment:

The rental payment covers the cost of your stay, including cleaning fees and any applicable service fees. For specific details, please review the listing of each property on our website.

Cancellation and Refunds:

We offer a flexible cancellation policy. For cancellations made 48 hours before check-in, there is no charge. If you cancel one week before check-in at 3:00 pm, you will receive a partial refund of 50% for each night booked, excluding the service fee. Unfortunately, no refunds are available for cancellations made on the day of check-in.

Check-In and Check-Out:

Check-in is available from 3:00 pm onwards, and check-out is required by 10:00 am. We provide self check-in using a key safe for your convenience.

Guest Responsibilities:

To ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, we kindly request the following:

• Guests are required to abide by the maximum number of guests allowed per listing.
• Commercial photography is permitted on the premises.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited within the rental units.
• We have a strict no-party policy. Do not host parties or events that would disrupt the peace and comfort of our vacation homes or disturb our neighbors. Please treat our neighbors with respect by keeping noise to a minimum and within acceptable levels.
• Kindly observe the 10 am check-out time so our cleaners have enough time to thoroughly and safely prepare the space for the next guest in line with our enhanced cleaning standards.
• Please leave the home neat and tidy. We may need to charge guests for additional housekeeping time if our team is required to stay longer.
• If smoking occurs in the property, we will have to charge guests to have the furnishings and carpet deodorized.
• Please try not to misplace keys or fobs; any replacement fees will need to be passed onto our guests.
• We reserve the right to access the property during your stay for repairs and maintenance, and access needs to be provided for these reasons.

Property Conditions and Liability:

During your stay, guests are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the property. Any damages or excessive cleaning required due to negligence or misconduct may result in additional charges. City Stays Melbourne is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur during your stay. Guests are responsible for their own safety and should exercise caution while on the premises. It is important to secure personal belongings and valuables as City Stays Melbourne is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage. Guests must comply with all local laws, regulations, and community guidelines. Any illegal activities or disturbances caused by guests may result in immediate eviction without refund. While we strive to provide uninterrupted services, City Stays Melbourne is not responsible for any disruptions to utilities or services beyond our control. We encourage guests to obtain travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.

Use of amenities such as swimming pools, fitness centers, or recreational facilities is at the guest’s own risk. Guests should adhere to any posted rules and guidelines and exercise caution when using these facilities. City Stays Melbourne reserves the right to access the property at reasonable times for maintenance, repairs, or inspections.

Termination of Agreement:

City Stays Melbourne reserves the right to terminate the agreement and request immediate vacation of the property in the event of a violation of these terms and conditions or any disruptive misconduct that affects the well-being of other guests or the property.

Dispute Resolution:

In the case of any disputes arising from these terms and conditions or your stay with City Stays Melbourne, we will strive to resolve them through negotiation. If necessary, legal proceedings will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
